I very much enjoyed reading The Me Clone by Gene Keyes. It was well written and carried me through the thirty-three chapters effortlessly and pleasantly. It was a gentle and philosophical romance story with a pleasant sprinkling of comedy and humor.
The subject of this free online novella / novel / long story was about cloning which some might find contentious but Gene Keyes writes with a light touch that never offends. In fact, I could see that cloning a fully grown person would make a good topic for discussion at any dinner party and Gene Keyes examines many of the philosophical issues through his story.
The Me Clone which is a free romantic comedy with science fiction overtones by Gene Keyes gets the Hopcott High Five for being an excellent free online novel or novella that provides a good free read.

I enjoyed reading the free online novel or novella The Battle of Rosendawn by Siyong Lin on her site ‘tales from an amateur novelist‘. It was well written and carried me through to the end nicely.
Janelle, a young modern woman, suddenly finds herself in a fantasy world based on a book she was reading. Rosendawn, the castle in the book, is being attacked. Can a girl from the modern day age and a character in a fictional novel have a happy ending together? Read this excellent story to find out
Back soon with more free online novels and novellas I have read and enjoyed.
