I enjoyed reading the free online novel or novella The Battle of Rosendawn by Siyong Lin on her site ‘tales from an amateur novelist‘. It was well written and carried me through to the end nicely.
Janelle, a young modern woman, suddenly finds herself in a fantasy world based on a book she was reading. Rosendawn, the castle in the book, is being attacked. Can a girl from the modern day age and a character in a fictional novel have a happy ending together? Read this excellent story to find out

I have a fantasy audio book in video project which plot is somewhat similar to The Battle of Rosendawn – a modern girl drawn into a Fantasy World threatened by dark sorcerers and fire-breathing dragons.
