Hi Rob,

Are you still running this blog? I'm hoping you could help me promote my serialized online novel at http://www.kafegavani.com.

Are there any other blogs like this?

Hi Ben

I had a browse of your first chapters and thought they were well written.

The content of your story, perhaps like all fiction, may only appeal to a particular sector of the population. This could be a strength as well as a weakness.

Many of the general public may find the subject matter and explicit language hard to deal with. This, again, could be a strength or a weakness.

I suspect that the secret to finding readers for your story lies in defining the reading community that can relate to the subject matter and content.

Once the sector where your story will appeal is identified, you can target readers from that sector by seeking links from that online community and with the links will come readers.

Good luck

Rob

Mr. Hopcott:

I wonder if you would take a look at my blogsite and let me know what you think of the first 4 chapters of a novel currently in progress. It is g gay erotic thriller entitled "Sex Offenders." It is the story of a nameless man, pushing 50, who is accused of murdering an underage boy after luring him through an internet chat room. Though acquitted on sexual molestation charges, he lives with the daily knowledge that because of his "weakness", he has nothing; his money is gone, the male strip club he built from the ground up, also gone.

Plagued by demons, addiction, and tormented by dark memories, our nameless man pushing 50 claims to "live life in the moment" by giving in to his cravings; alcohol, pot, young boys. Until he meets Elvis; brother of the teenager he was accused of having killed. As our man tries to redeem himself by helping Elvis find his brother's murderer, man and boy wind up falling in love despite everything that is against them.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Sincerely,

Ben Gines
Ft Lauderdale, FL
