I enjoyed reading the free online novel or novella The Battle of Rosendawn by Siyong Lin on her site ‘tales from an amateur novelist‘. It was well written and carried me through to the end nicely.
Janelle, a young modern woman, suddenly finds herself in a fantasy world based on a book she was reading. Rosendawn, the castle in the book, is being attacked.
